Charming Stay Close to the Sea
We had a delightful break at this cozy hotel. The highlight was the friendly staff who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The quaint lift added character, although some room updates would enhance comfort. Opt for a room away from the windows in winter!

Seaside location with easy access to the vibrant esplanade and close proximity to local shops and attractions. The sea view from the room is rewarding, creating a pleasant backdrop for a relaxed stay.
Facilities in the room felt basic, lacking bedside shelves and delivering a shower experience that swung between hot and cold unpredictably. Evening entertainment tended toward the outdated, and the overall ambiance came off as a bit tired and lacking in character, making it less appealing for those expecting a more varied experience. Arranging breakfast was an unnecessary hassle. It would help to see some updates in both room decor and entertainment options to create a more inviting atmosphere.

The quirky old-fashioned lift added delightful character, making each ride a nostalgic trip back in time. Plus, the lovely morning breakfasts fueled my adventures with delicious, hearty meals!

Couple’s weekend getaway, solid choice
Had a warm welcome from the staff on arrival, they were friendly and made us feel right at home. Our room was clean, spacious, and had a lovely view of the bay, perfect to unwind after a day's adventures.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but pretty reasonable for what we got.

Lovely seaside retreat with memorable views
We enjoyed our stay with a fabulous sea view room where we could sit and watch the waves, even catching a glimpse of a playful seal! The staff were warm and welcoming, making every moment pleasant with their helpful service. While the Victorian lift added some charm, it did feel a bit old-fashioned compared to modern conveniences, which offered an opportunity for improvement.

Brilliant location and comfy rooms!
Had a lovely time here! The single room with sea view was super cute & the sights were amazing. Nice little bar area for drinks. The staff were incredibly helpful, even assisting us when we got blocked in the car park. Just wish my room was a bit bigger, felt more closet than room at times.

Had a fantastic stay with friends! We enjoyed our time walking along the beautiful promenade and exploring Venue Cymru for a show. The hotel had a great location and easy access for everyone. While the atmosphere fit more for older guests, we appreciated the charm of the place and the friendly staff.
The only downside was the shower situation. It was quite small, which made for an awkward experience. That said, we made do, and the positives outweighed this minor inconvenience.

Lovely stay with amazing staff!
The staff were super friendly—shoutout to Mr Sheriff and Andrea for making my mum's bday special! The breakfast was nice, too. Only downside was the room could've used some TLC. pretty outdated and the pillows were flat. great vibe!

Recommend it for people who love character and charm
We booked a sea view room at short notice and the foreign man at reception was great really made us feel welcome and the old lift is just amazing adds so much character to an otherwise dated building and the carpark was handy too
It wasn’t inexpensive but honestly it was acceptable given the quirks of the place
